These are real photographs–unstaged and undoctored in photoshop (other than color / image quality adjustments). I saw this while walking around at night in Pasadena, California. Almost as if some disaster occurred and everyone had to leave in a hurry. There was, of course, no such thing. I wonder what happened. Maybe the teachers were just having a lazy ass day, but at least I got a series of surreal and post-apocalyptic images out of it.
